Home: Welcome
STITCHER, QUILTMAKER, TEACHER
Home: Products
I am a visually challenged, traditional quilter. I have been sewing most of my life. At the age of 17 I trained as a traditional embroiderer at the Royal School of Needlework before becoming a military embroiderer for a while.
I am a retired Civil Servant who now volunteers with the prison charity Fine Cell Work and at Yorkshire's finest stately home, Wentworth Woodhouse.
I love strong colour, have a passion for Hawaiian Quilts, hand stitching, tradition with a twist and sharing my love of all things stitching with others.
I make and sell a huge range of quilts. If you are interested in any of the quilts you see on this site please get in touch.
I am always interested in alternative outlets so please get in touch if you are interested in stocking any of my items.
.
The pictures are of quilts I have made. More pictures on my gallery pages.
My latest passion are map quilts. Modern wholecloth quilts depicting UK sites. So far London, York, Devon & Cornwall and Brockwell Park in Brixton. Others in the pipeline are Kew Gardens, Hampton Court, Edinburgh and the Lake District.
